I think you should turn the heating off for the weekend, pack your
tent and go to the rally.

As any fule kno who's ever tried to do winter climbing in Snowdonia, it
won't actually be cold. Just wet.

I've climbed in decent winter conditions in N.Wales plenty of times
but very rarely three days in a row.

My biggest worry about the Dragon is that it might be on that fucking
airfield site they've used in previous years and because you don't
know where it's being held until you get there you're left with the
option of fucking off somewhere down the Ogwen valley and doing your
own bit or staying with the pussy bitches.

It's generally cold in North Wales during February ;)

I checked up my own work pics for the dragon date over the last few
    years.
2009 Several inches of snow all over North Wales :)
2008 No snow but frozen solid.
2007 cant find no pics or anything to give me a clue.....(1)
2006 frozen solid on the date followed by snow at the end of the month.
    2005 snowed
    2004 2nd feb snowed

    1. So I nicked this from the local bee keepers webby:

6th February. Cold easterly wind making it feel much colder than was
evidenced by the temperature. Further evidence of snow having fallen
overnight on some of the peaks, and reports of snow fall on the Isle of
Angelsey. Another hard frost, but another day of sunshine, with frost
remaining on the north facing parts of the garden. Temp high 4.5c @
    13.00hrs, temp low -2c @ 08.00hrs. Windchill -4.2c. 7th February.
Another heavy overnight frost, and good clear sunny periods during the
day. Clouding up after dark, with pressure dropping as a front moved in
from the southwest, expected to bring snow to much of England and Wales.
    Temp high 4.2c @ 13.30hrs, temp low -3c @ 08.00hrs

It'd be warmer if it was wetter ;)

No bike atm and I doubt I'll have one then.

I'll go if I'm your pillion.

Sounds like a walk in the park.

I'll not be taking a pillion if I go on the Yam but if I decide to
drag the outfit back on the road I'll give you first option on being
    the bitch in the box.
If it wasn't easy I wouldn't be suggesting it on here because it's not
worth the effort of suggesting something more challenging than a ride
    to Wales.

It's a piece of cake! Nowhere in Wales is more than a short walk from
    someone.
Just don't break a leg somewhere you didn't tell anyone you were going
where there's no phone signal......if you're lucky the cold will get you
    first.....

If you keep this up you'll end up with more than just myself and Platy
    turning up.
Breaking a leg isn't an issue, Hog rode home from Germany with a
broken leg and the sympathy level from the rest of us was so high we
left him at the hotel because he was late getting out of bed.
