I have a ZX7R that's surplus to requirements, and I need some cash, so... 1999 (registered December 1998) ZX7R P4. Currently in several dozen bits in my garage, but can be re-built in a weekend if anyone is interested in buying it. Very little origional bodwork left, skidmarx side and top fairing in black, scratched origional rear fairing. Full race bodywork with light cutouts available if you want it, CF rear hugger, CF front fender, CF air ducts, front suspention re-valved & re-sprung, full hindle exhaust system in stainless steel with titanium end can otherwise standard. Got an alarm too. I do have a set of green bodywork (as seen at snettertonhttp://www.semi-evolved.org/snet) that could be put on instead, including endurance-style lights, if you really want. Erm, yes, general cosmetic condition (apart from the skidmarx) could be described as "obviously dropped once on each side". Made about 118bhp at the rear wheel when it was last dyno'd, and apart from the end can is road legal. No tax or MOT, as it's been sitting in the garage connected to the optimate for the last 7 months. New chain & sprockets, engine just[1] had 16,000 mile service, tyres are negotiable - currently set to 'track day chic'. Would make someone a nice little track bike, or cheap road bike. I can break it and sell it for spares on ebay for a total of about 2,000 quid, but I'd rather not have the hassle, so make me an offer. "Reading area". [1] well, it had just had it 7 months ago...
[deliberately not snipped] and, 3 years later, this bike is now available again. It's had another couple of thousand miles on it, and has been dropped again, but doesn't look any different, aside from now only having one mirror. Oh, and it needs a speedo cable (probably). It needs MOTing, but aside from the end-can, I see no reason it wouldn't pass. Make someone a cheap track bike, or very cheap road bike. Colour: black, silver and scraped. Reason for sale: I don't want it. Currently located in Hatfield Heath. Offers?
