There's a series of buttons in front of the screen and if you press them in
the right order....

 

I blame XanaNews for that post. The only other possibility is that I
screwed up, and I can't imagine that can have happened.

 

I've had the same since switching to Xananews. Type the subject, CR to
get into the text box, but in Xananews that sends the message. Have to
use tab or maybe it's reconfigurable.
