Very good, though Monty Hall most certainly did mention the midges in
one of the installments that I saw.

He was being eaten alive by the little fuckers.

I can see the weather much closer too.

Look out of window to beautiful crystal clear blue skies and bright
sunshine, start putting on bike gear. The light dims as dark ominous
clouds gather and the pitter patter of torrential rain is heard. Start
taking bike gear off. look up from taking boots off as bright sunshine
starts pouring through the window, crystal clear blue skies and steam
gently rising from the roads as the sun evaporates all evidence of rain,
    repeat every 20 minutes ;-)

Yep, but I behave more when I have Jean on the back and a tent, and sleeping
    bags and stuff :)

Ummm... Aden is in the middle east, ytc. Singapore is classed as far
    east, or south east asia

No. Sadly, his girlfriend turned up half way through the series.

    Well, there's self-publicising ... and there's public onanising.

  14. Only low-res on that area. No matter, if the military want to keep
secret an installation which has likely been there since 1942, fair
    enough.

I used to regularly sail on a Sigma 38.

I only mention it because it's five better. Just think: *five*!

  16. Mmmm But I don't know what I would do with the extra *5* with just the
    two of us on board.

You give two and a half to J and keep the other two and a half for
    yourself. Easy!

Stand up straight, perhaps? First boat I skippered was a Sigma 33.
Nice enough, albeit with a tiller[1] rather than a wheel, but just to
    small below decks.

[1] Which decided one time, when coming into Vasiliki bay in a gusting
Force 7, that it would rotate on the now-no-longer-really-splined
tiller post and have little or no effect on the rudder. Which was,
    err, "interesting".
