What's the script on these machines?
I might have an option on one for summer rides, the RT is
too damned hot when the sun gets out.

    Strangely on topic.

    Which model ?

Jean has just got a Trail.

    Its a hoot

Post 2005 has the same engine as the XT.

Cruises happily at 80-85, interesting at 100.

Its fun around town in traffic, I've used it to commute to Sale and back
    (50 mile round trip).

    Pulls nicely to 60mph
    Does between 45-65mpg
    Cheap !

Early ones had the same Rotax engine as BMW F650 (except the pegaso has a 5
valve head and the BM has a 4 valve one)

As I love my F650 to bits I can only assume the Pegaso would be similar
    fun.

I saw one at the weekend at the dealer, and they look /great/.

Hmm, I'm not really contributing to the SNR, am I?

A friend loves his - it's one of the early ones with the Rotax engine. He
uses it to commute from central London to his work at Heathrow. Looking a
bit tatty now but it is over 10 years old.

He's a frog and has it registered at his brother's address in Metz. He's
also ignored the requirement to change his licence to a UK one, despite
being resident here for 5 years. Apparently, he hasn't had any NIPs and
when he got a tug from plod he was sent away with a bollocking in Franglais

    No, I wasn't being a pedant - I didn't recognise the word, and the
typo foiled my attempt to look it up.
