Aprilia RS 250

175 mph on a dyno.

 

Hi,
Have been discussing the various aspects of Aprilia bikes and in
particular the performance of the RS 250.
No-one seems to know what the top speed of this bike is in road
fettle.
Anyone else able to provide this info

Dunno, I've always fancied one of those.
Mind you with me being the size I am, It'd look like it was stuck up my
arse!

 

No offfence and all that, but that was the opinion I came to when I saw Monz
on my 955i as I followed on hid GSX1400... Its the only time I've ever
thought my bike looked small... That said he did ride it rather jolly
well... Maybe the additiona; suspension compression helps on the bends...
)

PS. An RS250'll crack 130. Just. On a good day. But it'll feel *loads*
faster and be loads more fun than a bloody diesel to keep on the boil....

I don't think I'll ever be able to look at an RS250 and not wish it was
Sol's RS500. 127bhp(?) in an RS250 frame? Suits everyone, sir!
