Is it just me, or is this groundhog day?

    CBR250, I dunno. CBR250RR, well, I swapped my ZZR250 for one for a
quick scoot through the Nasho about a year ago, and I didn't want to
give it back when I was done. For a learnerbike, the RRR was fun. It
was the only Honda product that I've ever ridden/driven that I
    didn't not like.

Having said that, I don't know jack about them technically, so even
if they're fun, they might still suck.

    Want more,

You import a 15-18 year old motorcycle that's been sitting on a dock in
Japan for years, stripped into tidily bits packed with a million others, put
a bike together out of the tidily bits, you respray it, you compliance it
as a 2005 model with low k's even though the only thing low k's might be the
odometer, then you wack on a price tag to rival new bikes..

For an over rated bike that you will probably crash, smash, blow a piston
and then sell for less money than you paid for it.

Why not buy something locally delivered, why buy a bling bling bike just
because everybody else sez so, the 15% more power and handling will be
wasted compared to other models, because ya cant ride yet..

Buy something lowk's less than 5 years old, pref nekkid as fairings exy,
then invest in some decent riding gear and a few bike courses, ride at 100%
of your ability, use 80% of the bike, instead of riding at 35% of your
ability and 50% of the bike..

n dont bring up 2 smokes, they give you cancer

Uhm Mad, I think he said CBR250 - ain't they locals?

GB, methinks it's the ones with all the extra 'R's that are imports???

    You're right, I haven't had the pleasure. I have driven a Nissan
Micra though and so I'm fully prepared to accept that the Postie
would be infinitely more fun than the zzr/gpx250, the cbr250 or
any of the other standard learner choices however.

I've ridden a postie and I can say that CBR250RRs are gutless pieces of
shit. Happy to clear that up for you.

Most of the single R models I've seen are imports. But for the RR's, there's
a good mix of import and factory released models about. The imports will be
marked with "IMPORT" stamped into the V.I.N.
