    The Hard drive went bang
You can if you ask at the time of reporting the fault, or you can ask the
fitting engineer to telephone for a reference number whilst he is at your
premises and then you have 5 days before they conatct you to collect the
    drive by courier.
You, of course, volunteer to pay for the replacement drive and then you can
    keep it for good.

The memory is now giving me gyp
Kingston does all sorts of memory for eve the oldest of old Dell stuff.
More dust = more heat output ;o)
Can't argue there, but for a server I'm kind of surprised as they brought
the call centres back to Ireland &/or Scotland for Servers and storage? That
may have changed again since I left the DSP in question.

It was Ireland. I'm in Turkey and its apparently not their problem anymore
even though I had the gold cover at eek pounds. Phone the Turkish staff
they say. But they don't have any as far as I could find. Just a lot of
agents who sell stuff and will sell you parts etc but no warranty claims
etc. As for memory maybe in Istanbul but not down south. :(

    They just weren't very helpful.

Not that unusual, although I thought that the warranty was europe-wide. I
know a lot of the people from the states had waranty service in the uk. It
may not work the other way mind.

I'm sure kingston memory will post to turkey ;o)
