  2. I'd wondered why LHC has just started to give us more and more
bunches of protons in a fill. When's ICHEP? Ah, next week in Paris...

Anyway, they can't export me now, I have the confusingly-named
    "indefinite leave to remain".

If we're prepared to kick *that* out on a whim, I think a beardie bloke
who might **** the whole planet up with a misplaced decimal point is a
    no-brainer.

Pack yer Matilda, cobber. You're on the next boat home.

  7. Nobody I know remotely involved with CERN pronounces it with a
"hard" C. It's originally a French acronym, Centre Europe'enne de la
Recherche Nucle'aire (give or take a few misplaced feminines...) -- do the
Frenche _have_ a hard C? Mebbe it should have a cedilla...

    I wondered about that.

If it had been an Italian acronym I suspect the pronunciation would've
    been 'chern'. But it isn't.

Have you wondered why all the media outlets seem to be running the same
picture? It's probably the only photo where she looks good. I want to
see the portfolio to make sure.

I'm quite prepared to do the research. Russian women are hot hot hot. Well,

I went through the lot when her Facebook profile was still working.

She looks even better in most of them.

Sir needs a motorcycle tour of Spain, with stops wherever parked

Just visiting Barcelona is enough. There seemed to be a surplus of lovely
    young ladies.
