First impressions: 1. Suspension technology have moved on quite a bit since the 2000 model. That would buck around on bumpy and uneven roads. This ones seems much more stable. 2. The standard cans make an awesome noise. From a low grumble when bimbling to a loud bark when beans are applied and it even crackles and pops on the over-run! It sounds superb. Not too loud but definately not quiet. 3. It seems to weigh about as much as Paris Hilton. http://www.theredline.co.uk/2006r1/index.html -- Ash UKRMFBC#8 BOTAFOT#82 BOTAFOF#41 HMC#5 FTB#0 YZF-R1 2006 "Roger" http://www.theredline.co.uk "If everything seems under control, you're just not going fast enough." -- Mario Andretti
That's pretty tasty. I hope your run-in period isn't too much of a chore, but you'll probably enjoy it anyway.
Max 6900rpm upto 600 miles, then max 8300rpm upto 1000 miles. Then GLF. At least it lets me get used to the bike and the new tyres. -- Ash UKRMFBC#8 BOTAFOT#82 BOTAFOF#41 HMC#5 FTB#0 YZF-R1 2006 "Roger" http://www.theredline.co.uk "If everything seems under control, you're just not going fast enough." -- Mario Andretti
About a hair more than Teri Hatcher I reckon. It wasn't a Pegaso perversion, it was Caponord campness. -- Ash UKRMFBC#8 BOTAFOT#82 BOTAFOF#41 HMC#5 FTB#0 YZF-R1 2006 "Roger" http://www.theredline.co.uk "If everything seems under control, you're just not going fast enough." -- Mario Andretti
That is a fine looking motorsicle. I'm really looking forward to buying my house now, cos the mortgage is going to run to an interim 2002-03 R1. Interim before the brand new GSXR1000K7 which I must have next year.
