This little run is ready to roll 'em out..

I haven't done a lot of soliciting or explaining
on this trip because of the kind of run it is going
to be.. Mostly freeway and little relief from the
monotonous grind .. Most of the guys who've
ridden with me lately, would prefer another type
of trip.. lol.. I don't much blame them.. I always
kind of dread this trip to Arizona.. jeez.. I seriously
doubt that I'd make the ride if it wasn't for the good
company at the end of a long ride..

There have been one or two that have expressed interest
in making the run.. My plan is to leave Irving, early Wednesday
morning, next week.. I'd like to clear the metroplex on IH-20
by about six in the AM.. That means I'll be leaving Irving around
    5:30 AM..

It's my goal to be in El Paso between four and five PM, and since
Barnett's is on the east side of the city, we can visit with all those
good guys, there .. to break from the rush hour traffice, that time of
    day..

From El Paso.. if we can leave around six PM or shortly thereafter,
I'd hope to ride to Deming or Lordsburg, NM.. to spend the rest of
    the night..

From there.. it is the best part of the ride with a lot of things to see
from the highway.. Texas Canyon .. etc. etc.. hmmm.. From Pecos
to El Paso is mostly a good ride also.. but..

After the little rest break in NM.. the ride on into Casa Grande is
an easy and pleasant one.. we should be in Casa Grande (about halfway
between Tucson and Phoenix) around noon or 1:00 PM...

The return trip should start Saturday about the same times, in reverse..
The rest break should be somewhere between Van Horn and Midland..

Back in the metroplex late afternoon or early evening on Sunday..

Anyone interested, is welcome to ride .. Phoenix is a real nice place
to visit and some of my friends up there will be anxious to welcome
us with some of the best food you've ever eaten .. Usually there is
some Mexican flavoured entertainment, also.. That old friend of mine
in Casa Grande is one of the most gracious hosts that I've ever been
around.. Should be a real good trip for anyone who decides to go..

    Regards
