Today I have been mostly swearing at the V Strom.

I tried fitting new swing arm links in order to lower the bike. Try as
I might, I could not get the top bolt out of the swing arm, it hits
the left side exhaust pipe.

I guess it's time to get a man in.

 

Hence the phrase, "get a bigger hammer."

 

I followed the directions and that failed to work as advertized.

I don't feel comfortable taking more of it apart than what I tried.
There's two bike shops near me that do suspention work so I'll ring
monday and see who has the best price and time available.
