The myopic tart that wrote my bike off in Sept has finally admitted
    liability!

She didn't really have much of a chance at not doing so, but she was very
reluctant to reply to any (read that as all!) letters from my insco or
solicitor, as the 2 attending police motorcyclists put her squarely in the
frame, and are prosecuting her! She finally admitted after her own insco
assessor laid blame squarely at her door.
I mean, it's very difficulty not to be at fault when you have turned right,
across the oncoming traffic, from behind a double decker bus that (third
party) admits was blocking her view, to get t-boned in the rear offside
passenger door at a decent 90 degree angle! and injuring her rear passenger
(daughter) [1] sitting in the rear!

My Insco, (Aunty Carole) has been brilliant. They agreed to write off the
bike and paid me out within the month, less my 300 sovs excess. I've ordered
the new bike which won't be here until Crimble as it won't leave the factory
until 24th November. Not sure whether to take delivery of the bike around
Christmas or ask the to hold it until March and get it on the 07 plate.
    Opinions please.

Anyways up, although a real fucking nuisance and agg all round, All seems at
peace with the world now, and I am a happy bunny. Could've been a lot worse.

Just waiting for the cheques to roll in now for the damaged goodies (Lid,
Jacket, Gps etc) and my arse will be zooming around again soon on a shiny
    new...

An Electraglide Ultra classic, to directly replace the previous 3 day old
    one.
Different colour though this time, might be luckier! and I've asked that
they don't hand it over to me with 13 miles on the clock ;o)

    Nice one, good result.

You don't specifically say so, but I assume you're getting your £300 excess
back off her insurance too, seeing as how it was completely her fault.

Oh yes, I've got a solicitor supplied through Auntie Carole, and the legal
expenses team to handle that. It's nice to be able to say, "talk to my
solicitor" without having to think of the £££'s ringing up!
