  2. err but why those two and both Suzukis? There's the CB1300 from Honda
    and the XJR1300 from Yamaha.

    have you had a test ride? what type of riding do you do? Why wait till
    February? - grab a bargain now. Prices will only be on the rise come
    next year as the Yen is gaining strength and you will be closer to the
    spring bike purchasing season when there are fewer deals to be had.

    Lots of people here will vote for the B12 - partly through ownership
    experience and partly because they do good wheelies.

    Primarily price! B12 £4500, GSX14 £4995. CB13 and XJR13 are way too dear!

    ZRX12 too.

    All good bikes, but most people that buy the GSX will buy it for looks
    and not handling. The XJR13 does handle better and the CB13 is a nice
    reliable bike (tm). I've actually been quite attracted by the CB13
    recently, but hanven't had the chance to test ride one yet.

    Me, I bought my GSX14 because I genuinely liked it (although another
    personal factor helped).

    See http://www.rosbif.org/mybike/index.html for my opinion.

    The GSX motor is based on the B12, but if you want good handling, a
    much nippier bike and more kudos, try that.

    I'm not into Kudos me. :)

    As is the XJR1300 if you look in the right places.

    Might help if you leave some context in your posts so people can work
    out what you're going on about.

    And the XJR is a much better bike than the GSX1400 (Sorry Cab, it was nice
    but that is as far as it went)
    And partly because they have not ridden an XJR but still like bikes that
    rot and don't work in the rain :=}

    dear!

    You quote the B12 and GSX14 prices , but not the otehrs ? If you can get
    bargains on those then you should be able to find decent prics on the
    other two.

    Heh, the XJR has a lot of advantages over the GSX1400, primarily
    handling, so I'm not offended.

    :=} But I have to admit the B12 wins the handling argument. After all I
    tried and failed, spectacularly :=}
