Back from Le Mans

  1. Another great trip to the 24 hour Moto at Le Mans. The winning GSXR1000
did a rolling burnout over the finish line, superb. The weather was very
kind as well, plenty of dry roads even though it was overcast. The ZXR
went well, but not a match for a Hyabusa that could show 225mph on the
    speedo.

Which brings me to the important part. Has anyone got a front brake master
cylinder bracket for a ZXR750L they don’t need. Mine has snapped :(
[1]. I’m glad I fitted the new Metzler Z6 tyres to the spare wheels
before I went. I don’t think the Corsa’s would have liked the
    water drenched roads in places.

Oh yes, GSXR1000 first, R1 second and third, ZX10R fourth. I really like
the look of the ZX10R. It seams so complete, under tray, oval exhaust,
that frame, the disks, radial calipers. Very nice….

[1] The ZX9R-C1 did the same thing IIRC.

Are the Z6s any good? I was thinking about trying them ... using
Pirelli Dragon GTS just now (Evo on the front).

The linux nerd is you, not the kit you are failing to operate
    correctly at any given moment!

    "Troll"? Ouch.

Wind-up merchant, no doubt. It's hugely amusing to see the *nix nerds
hoist themselves on their own petards, though. (There's nothing that
hasn't been done before, though, so the fun is diminishing.

give it a week or so - he'll be posting another test message to a
    non-test newsgroup - that's always *hilarious*.

The thing is, I'm quite *nix-friendly. But the advocates are their
    own worst enemies.
