    No one ever adjusts them as they are such a pisser to do. Just as well
    the chains last for a reasonable amount of time without a tensioner.

    Having just looked it up my chain was last changed nearly 40,000 miles
    ago, the automatic tensioner probably makes quite a differences to
    longevity.
