Baglux fitting

I've just managed to purchase a second-hand Baglux tank cover for the
Sprint ST from Jack Lilley via eBay.

I haven't had much chance to look at it yet, so is it easy to fit? Do
I need to remove, or at least be able to lift, the tank? I'd assume
so, but what do I know? Of course, if I do, that means removing the
seat and then I've got the ****-of-a-job getting those two sodding
    screws back in.

Plus, as it's a tad cool out there at the moment, is it better to wait
for it to get a bit warmer before struggling with it? I suspect it will
    make it easier to fit.

I have just purchased my second new Sprint ST and the forst job i did
was remove those screws, after all I sit on the seat so its not going
    anywhere.

I traded my old 08 Sprint ST in and it never had the screws put back, a
right royal pain in the arse, best out from the start.

Ornament, or are you actually planning to ride the bike this year?

Woah there assumption boy. He's bought one, he's fitting one, the odds
of him actually using one are empirically rather low.

    ****(
There's a chance I'll have outed the bike before I get to fit it but
that being the case, I can still offer the Baglux as an incentive as it
will cover up slightly dodgy lacquer, which is the main reason I bought
    it.
Cool. How often does it go out?

actually, I'm being unkind; I'm considering a baglux system for my 12R

[1] note to Ogden: despite it being SORNed, I actually rode it
yesterday, and will be taking it on this year's TOGtour.
