Where can you order their stuff from that's reliable?

Only the phone number on the website gives an unobtainable tone.

Following on from my 'praise' post,
    http://www.bikehps.com/acatalog/Baglux_Luggage.html

No idea how their prices compare on Baglux though. Sticking the
specific one you're after into Google Shopping should give an idea.

Getting a bag seems easy. Getting a tank cover seems like a right
    pain in the arse.

I'll ring Gericke in a bit and see what the lead time is, as I need it
    for a non-clique tour in 2 weeks.

How odd. That's the number I tried earlier.

I dealt direct with Baglux when I got my stuff. I'd use them again
    given the choice.

I managed to get through. Turns out they can't guarantee me getting a
tank cover by the end of the next week, so that's no good for my tour.

I'll just replace the magnetic base on my Oxford tank bag with a
strap-on one. Bloody Suzuki plastic tank...

Its more a case of making do with what I've got because I can't get
what I want. I've got an Oxford Humpback tankbag with a magnetic base
    so would rather re-use that.

Plan was to buy a Baglux cover and bag for both the GSXR and the
(to-be-delivered) Bandit 1250. I want to take the GSXR to the TT next
year so wanted it for that and was planning to wait because I expected
to use the B12 for September's tour. Unfortunately the Bandit won't
be delivered till the 3rd week of September which is too late, meaning
I need to use the GSXR.

So I thought I'd bring forward the purchase of the Baglux stuff for
the GSXR, but I can't because they can't deliver it in time for the
    tour.

So I'll just use the Oxford tank bag, which has a magnetic base.

So I'll need to get the strapon base for it.

And we're back to where we came in. Does that make the slightest
sense? In one way it's better because I'm only spending 15 quid now
    rather than 200.

    Yeah, perfect sense.

I've got the Quick-Lock Daypack; it's only small but handy for carrying
my lunch ) I've also got the map holder. I think the option of
having power direct to the bag is a good option for all of the GPS
    freaks too.

I'm actually after a Baglux cover as well but only really because the
lacquer on the tank has gone a bit "crazed" and it's a simple way to
cover it up. It also kills the luggage problem bird with the same stone.

I'm not in any particular hurry though, so I've been keeeping an eye on
eBay but there's not been a light grey one up there as yet.

Yeah, I saw that. The power thing is very nifty. That said, I've
just ordered two accessory sockets to fit to the bikes for power.
That's also my reason for the covers. My leathers don't seem to
damage the paint on the tank too much, but after 3 days my fancy new
Master V suit is already scratching up the GSXRs tank. Going to stick
some plastic on tonight but a cover is the longterm best bet for both
    bikes.
I had a mooch, but it seems the likelihood of exactly the right one
coming up is pretty slim. In my case I'd want a black/carbon GSXR K8
ones and a black Bandit 1250 one.

    Try the importer.
    http://www.baglux.co.uk/

When I phoned them for the CBR600RR they said delivery was about 6
weeks. Which is why I ended up with the Oxford Sprint tankbag and strap
on base from sound distribution, black was in stock. It's not quite as
convenient as a bagster as it zips on/off but it's okay for a tour.

I can lend you a Kriege strap on tank bag harness and a 20l tank bag
if that'd help. The downside is that there's no map pocket and you'd
have to sort out some sticky backed velcro for the rear mounts but
    it's there if needed.

I'm not home until next Thursday and then we're off to the Alps the
next day so grovelling to Adie might be the first step for you if you
    want to use it.

Thanks for the offer, but Gericke in Brum have a strap on base for the
Oxford tankbag I've got so I'll pick that up tomorrow night and I'm
    sorted.

Shame I can't come to the Alps, but I've only got a pass from Monday
afternoon till Friday morning, so three days walking in the Lakes it
    is for me.

and they're also later updating their prices. when I ordered one for
the Fazer they were cheaper. Baglux told me to order from them as they
hadn't got any and due to the euro exchange hike they'd had to put
    their prices up.
