    G'day all,

Firstly, thanks everyone for the support and best wishes you
have expressed to Leanne during this ordeal. I'm sure it helped her mentally
in overcoming yet another bump in life's road. She's had it hard over the
last few years but she'll bounce back and give ya's all the shits at her
next rally if she runs into you.

Thanks especially to Dave Milligan. A very generous and much
appreciated idea. If it gets 1 person to think about not setting a bomb then
it will be worth it. If only 1 club supports the idea then perhaps hundreds
at that rally will think about it.

An update. Leanne is out of hospital. Her face has healed very nicely, no
scarring, the burns unit did a chemical peel and she looks 5 years younger.
Her hands are coming along nicely as well but she still has some very small
areas of concern, possibly skin grafts but less likely every day, there will
however be scarring. Leanne's vision has returned and she's now seeing
things which aren't there, so look out. The specialists are amazed at her
rate of recovery. Her physio is also very happy with her progress.

We have initiated legal proceedings, I can't say who against for legal
reasons but I can say we should recover our expenses so far. The air
ambulance costs have been covered by health insurance so that's a HUGE
relief. Any compensation she receives should cover everything else
including future medical costs if required.

    Once again thankyou.

Madeyes and the one who looks 5 yrs younger.

  6. Thats the nice thing about Dave Milligans offer - if the rally gets to
the end without any Stones Bombs happening, Dave's prepared to offer the
rally organisers a _serious_ prize to award. The rally organisers
probably won't need to do any enforcing at all, they just need to let
everyone know there's a free trip to the Isle of Mann up for grabs if
nobody sets one off, and let the rallygoers do the enforcing for them.

I don't suppose it'll make any difference at all at Threshers Terrible
Trek, but it almost certainly will at some other rallies... (I wonder if
BTH is signing up with Milligoon right now???)

No, but I *will* be insisting that everyone attending the 2007
Unaugural wears a helmet at all times.

It's for your own good, you know.

  8. Awww, come on, we know Nev's pretty ugly, but there's no need to make
everybody _else_ wear a helmet too!

    ;-)

big (He's not two paper bag ugly, one for him and one for you in case
    his breaks...))

Hmm, you call Nev ugly a lot. If you were throwing stones at him and
telling everyone how much you hate him as well then I'd have to
conclude that you had the hots for him! ;-)

If you have a point to make, why don't you make your point?
Liquids that are flammable perhaps? Or again, if you have a point to make,
    why not make the point?

Because Hammo is one of those odd individuals that seems to think it's clever to be obscure and cryptic.

Face it Hammo. If you have to point something out, then it ain't obvious. It only appears that way to you as you're the one trying
    to make the point.

And yes I see it and get it, but it's not worth the effort.

(oh OK, what line do you draw for flammable liquid)?
    Missing Memory Enhancers?
    Meglomaniac Motorcycle Engineers?
    ?
That is not an acronym I am familiar with in common usage, at least in my
line of activities, so would be so kind as to enlighten me?
You didn't point out anything. You asked a cryptic question. It may seem
obvious to you where your question leads, but you mistake asking a question
    with making a point.

I will point out that you still haven't made a point...
