Hehe, well you'd know what you want what with the bunch of bikes you've had
over the past 5 years. ;)

No offence Tim but some of we "masses" aren't very "assembled"!

I'd suggest there's quite an amount of mass which is poorly assembled.

I rode the SV1000S (too lent over even with helibars).

I rode the SV1000 naked (it was bloody freezing with no fairing at all and
the rain felt much worse, this is melbourne remember), the seat was still
    bloody ordinary.

The Honda dealer didn't have any of the 'on special' Hornet 900's and after
getting extra wet on the naked SV1000 the ideal of a fully naked bike had
    sort of lost it's appeal.

The new adjustable seat and bars on the Bandit meant that I actually felt
comfortable (amazed look), and I can forgive a lot of other stuff for that.

I have chronic pain in my lower arms on an ongoing basis and lent over
riding positions (or hang from apehanger cruiser riding positions) make it
lots worse and that restricts the amount of riding I can do.

The Diversion 900 riding position is ok but the Divvy lacks a bit in the
    midrange.

So yes... I'd prefer a twin, but the ones I like that had a suitable riding
position (like the touring version of the Guzzi Breva 1100 with the scree)
were out of my budget (approx twice the cost of the Bandit), and the ones I
could afford didn't suit me (would have severely restricted my riding).

I'd rather be riding than not riding, even if the bike I'm riding isn't
perfect (and what bike is after all :)

A group of us rode naked around a rally site once, but that was 20 years
ago... I don't really have the body for naked riding anymore :)

I hope to still be riding at 75 and if that means riding a 50cc scooter
because that's all I can manage then so be it, I'd rather be riding a 50cc
    scooter than not riding :)
