Took a punt on these and they are fantastic.

I've never got on with the standard shaped headphones that you get
with iPods/MP3 players etc and as I use the TomTom Rider II with a
little blu-toof headphone adaptor I thought I'd give these a try.

They are superb, as they actually fit in my ear properly, they work as
earplugs when on the bike, and unlike the standard generic in the ear
type; these come with about half a dozen different shaped/sized
adaptors to find the perfect fit for your ear. I also found that the
generic in the ear headphones would either fall out or start to hurt
if I squeezed them in to far after an hour or so on the bike - these
don't - due to being the perfect fit.

Sound is fantastic with the nano, iPhone and TTR2 via bluetooth, but
    you'd expect that from Sennheiser.

And at the moment - they're about £21 delivered from mymemory, which
is around half the street price of everyone else.

I've been using CX300s for the last few years and they're spot on.

Just ordered a new set from Amazon to replace some that broke. £7.69
    delivered.

Are the CX400s three times as good?

  3. Haven't tried them side by side, so can't comment.

But they're 100 times better than the default iPhone ones for moosic,
and the noise isolation is spot on when I'm on the bike using the TTR.

Got a spare set of CX300s from Tesco for 7 quid. The only colour left was pink
but that will be OK for watching Lazy Town on an iPod.
I wouldn't trust them to stay in while motorcycling for any reasonable time
without some duct tape over my ears.

The ones that came with my phone are of a similar design (possibly
made by Sennheiser?), the main problem is the "spur" which takes the
wire into the speaker is pushed by my helmet and out they pop. if they
designed them without the spur, they would be pretty much perfect.

AOL. I got a set a couple of months ago to replace my standard iPhone
    ones.

Ta, offspring has eaten our Nano headphones and my old Sonys have
    disintegrated, so these look perfect.
