That said, I don't fancy a 275m ride at this time of year on a sports - especially as I'm a big bloke.... Having said that, I would have done it for the laugh (or cry) So, I start looking on eBay for delivery agents etc. I find one that lives in the same city as pickup. So that's 550 miles, about 10 hours driving plus the use of his van for 95 quid. I'd say that's a bit of a bargain.
It cost me £300+ to move 1 car and 2 bikes from MK to Ystrad Mynach. However, the bloke doing my Alfa restoration only charged me £75 or so to collect it. Although this could well be because it's part of a £2k bill for the work.

Its not as if that bike will be the only thing he's delivering ffs. These guys usually wait until they have a few drop-offs in the same area or on the same ruote. That way they can make a profit. When I had a bike delivered last year it was one of four that the guy was delivering on the same run.
