    http://www.tayna.co.uk/Motorcycle-Batteries-C7.html seems to be the
favourite over on UKGSer at the moment - they have a range of posh brand
AGM types and cheaper Chinese ones.

    Wot e said.

I bought a battery for the RX-8 from Tayna and it failed after 13 months,
not their fault, and they sent a replacement by next-day delivery.

Excellent thanks, however which brand would those who know recommend
from the list at Tayna. I use the bike each day with many stop/starts
so it takes quite a bashing. That said, the current dead one did me 7
    years.

if you are using the bike all year then get an AGM as they are better at
delivering their rated Ah at lower temperatures, compared to wet batteries.
I use a Hawker Odyssey on the R-GS which is excellent. Westco are similar
and seems to be available for your bike for £33.

This was an excellent recommendation, ordered Wednesday night,
delivered Friday morning, fitted today. So back on the road again
with the Dullsville for the more speedy types to rush past me, we all
enjoy two wheels and the roads differently. Thanks again.
