Anyone know of any beaches that are open to vehicles (trailbikes) around
    Perth region??
I am prepared to travel 40 - 50km north or south if need be. Surely there
must be a beach somewhere which is open to vehicles?

Plan on taking the dirtbike out tomorrow and the beach sounds like a good
    spot :)

    Thanks,

Depends how fast you are going, and how many others are with you.

I rode in the Sellick's Beach races a few years ago, flat sand can be a
lot of fun when umpteen other idiots are barrelling along it with you,
all heading for one marker to go round and come back....

Ummm nothing is wrong with MitoBoys suggestion (I never said there was). But
if YOU read my OP you would see I said 40 or 50km. Not 100+km.

And wtf do you care why I want to ride up and down a beach? For your
information I was going to teach my girlfriend how to ride and she wanted to
go to a beach (we have before up in Geraldton). Sheesh mate why be so
frieking aggressive I was just asking a question.

Cheers Mitoboy for the info I was planning on heading up to Lancelin to camp
overnight next time I get a few days off. Ive heard its awesome riding up
there. Unfortunately it was a bit to far to organize for todays ride. Next
    time though...

  6. Ah, so it's that sort of "an hour away"... point taken. But that is pretty
much the trip every Melbourne person has to put up with when they want to do
a Phillip Island trackday, for example.

If it guarantees hassle-free riding, and offers some dunes to boot, it
    sounds like a worthwhile trip...
It's Harsh Week... stick around, you'll get used to it...

Also, what's, really, the likelihood of any beach in any metropolitan area
    being open to vehicles?

ah, Sellick's, you're making me all nostalgic for those south of Adelaide
beaches, Aldinga, Willunga, Moana, beautiful white sand, nice waves, and then
there's the cossie optional Maslins... um, not that I've been there and took
my binoculars to the top of the hill carpark or anything...
