The fork legs on the Wing have a set of needle rollers where the
caliper brackets bolt on. A simple hole to put a bolt through would
    obviously be too simple/cheap.

Question: how do I get the worn bearing out?

Large socket, small socket, and a vice/clamp?

Would it viable to drift one out of the spare forks and refit in the
current ones, or are they a "one fit" item?

Smash it out with anything that'll do as a drift. You can drive out
most of it then use a dremel to collapse anything left.
Needle rollers are always one time items.

Speak nicely to WUN and give him dimensions of said bearings plus a photo or
two. He could probably machine up a couple of mandrels for
extraction/insertion in no time. If you get stuck and are not in a hurry
(ie: not in the next 5 days), drop me a line and I'll do it..

I'm in no rush: I'm not doing this before I set off for France.

What I'm seriously considering, is sticking the a new set of seals in
the spare forks, and save myself all this arseing about.

Rather than take all the fiddly bits off a 25k mile set, and fit them
to a 100k mile set, why not just fit the new ones?

I don't why I'm asking that question out loud, to be honest.

I could get new seals tomorrow easy enough, shawly.

    Using an M12 1/4 drive socket, a M6 thread bolt X 60 long, 1 x M6 bore
washer + nut (or 2) and suitable spanners you can make a "Puller".
No.....They are NOT available off the shelf at a bearing supplier. They have
    a specific O.D to Honda.

Change the bearing *and* the bush through the centre as they wear like the
    needle rollers and "ridge"

Apart from that U have my email if U need assistance..

Get a blind bearing puller, it fits into the bearing and uses a slide
hammer to drive the bearing out. Easy peasy, but cost around £100 for a
    set I think.
