My mates lad is gonna get a 50cc scooter, it's black & the paints untidy
round the front & front gaurd. Any idea how much to give it a bit of a
lick? Bodyworks OK, just shitty paint.

He'll get over it when he ages.

Another "How long's a piece of string" question? How the **** would I know
how much to charge without having an idea of what's involved? And to ANY non
painter, it's always "just shitty paint" whereas in the real world, it never
    is.

I'm more than happy to give you a price, but I'm not making one up off the
top of my head based on assumptions and descriptions that mean nothing.
After all, I'm currently repairing a Gixer tail unti that "only needs
paint", which needs considerably MORE than just paint.

That **** off big hole and lengthening split may be **** all to you, but it
more than doubles the time and work I have to do to get it to the point
    where I'll be happy.

    It's a first 50cc, you dozy ****.

He's going to crash it. A lot, if he's got anything about him.

Leave it as it is until he wants to sell it, *then* tart it up.

If there's anything left to blow paint at...

Precisely what I told my nephew 3 days before he threw his scruffy
Aprilia RS50 up the road and gouged the fairings a bit more. He's now
waiting til the week before he sells it before getting it painted.

    started:)
