Nope. But I might give it a go. Having to drink a largish quantity of
wife beater atvm. Which has just reached its best before date. I keep
    getting
given slabs of the stuff for providing computer support to the neighbours
occasionally (they seem to think I like a drink. Well. A lot of drink. More
than I actually do). My current favourite trick is to have it with a dash of
the King's ginger liqueur. Good old Stella becomes quite palatable when
    suitably adulterated.

Wouldn't the cinnamon **** the taste up? I don't like cinnamon in anything,
so for me it certainly would.

Gins are coming out with all sorts of different flavours now. I recall
Hendricks was one of the first we found. Really doesn't go well with lemon.

We have a bottle of something on top of the fridge which was rather
special, and not at all junipery, but damned if I can recall what it is.

FWIW cinammon gin sounds rather like Bekerovka to me.

    Not tried that.

Back in the early 80s when I was training there was a very popular trip
to the distillery occasionally organised by one of the reps. A quick
distillery tour followed by a free bar. The only rule was that if you
had to go for a piss you were out and not allowed back in again. 'Nuff
    said probably . . . . .

Lordy no. It goes against the grain. Had to stop now anyway.
Just had a request to do a run for Culina, got a 4:30am start
and I wouldn't want to be over my allotted 80mg BAC.

Why not make it even better by dispensing with the disgusting stuff
    known as 'tonic'?

  16. The label says it goes well with apple juice. Even worse ;-)

I quite like tonic, so :p

I may have to mix a G&T myself. This Sardinian white wine is not hitting
the spot. Unusual for something from an M&S mixed case to be unpalatable
but hey hoe, I see a white wine sauce on the menu tomorrow.

I experimented with gin & Appletiser which is just apple juice with CO2
added. Very pleasant but quite dangerous on a hot summer day, as you can
neck them back at an alarming rate.

  19. Pimm's has a simlar effect. Tastes like all those lovely summery fruit
drinks you had as a child, and then socks you between the eyeballs.

And rapidly reduces you to a state approaching childhood.

    I like Pimm's.
