Beer witchlet & Wintersun

Okay, I take back everything I have ever said about the horrors of
parenting.

My attendance at Wintersun has been seriously in doubt since my - ahem -
wheelchair incident... and I have been seriously concerned about my ability
to witch.

This evening, my lovely non-motorbiking daughter suggested a Thelma and
Louise (without the cliff at the end) road-trip to Wintersun (if I hire the
car!) coz she knows how much I was looking forward to it. She is such a
petal!

She is thinking it will be a nice mother-daughter road-trip, and will firmly
entrench her as my next-of-kin <evil grin>. I am thinking it would be a
fabulous opportunity to get her over her fear of bikes <even more evil
grin>. She will also do the witching if my leg refuses to cooperate.

So.... pending next Monday's pronouncement from the surgeon it looks like,
thanks to my lovely girl, I won't have to miss Wintersun!

You probably won't ever see me say this again, but:
AREN'T CHILDREN WONDERFUL????

Well, we've seen you say it 3 times now.

 

not sure what the story is - I sent all this stuff last night (and re-sent
some of it when it hadn't appeared hours later!) and it's only just
appearing now.

How embarrassment!
