  6. Quite. Hard to think without a head - guillotining's too good for 'em.

Anyway, received wisdom from several psychiatric nurses I've known (but
not in a professional capacity, I hasten to add) is the one nutter you
*never* turn your back on is the religious one.

    Interesting position:

BB and democracy = oil and water

Poor lass was sold down the river by the FO and that was never going
    to work back home.

I think that you'll find that it is intolerant people are at the root of
100% of all conflicts. As the majority of people on this planet subscribe to
a religious belief, it is easy to blame religion for people being stupid.

How often do you hear about vegetarianism being labeled as the cause of
World War II? Or atheism being blamed for the biggest mass-murder in
history? But this makes about as much sense as to blame religion.

Actually, I think that the people that you really want to watch are those
that are *certain* that they are right. Like Blair, Bush, Stalin, Hitler,
Pol Pot, Jim Jones, Richard Dawkins. Any strong philosophical viewpoint can
give sufficient self-justification if you are intolerant enough.
