  4. This applies to the religious ones, though (and that includes Jim Jones
on your list), because they're convinced their 'rightness' comes from
God. At present, that *especially* applies to the Muslim nutters.

I'm not sure that's entirely true. My guess is that some of the Muslem
nutters have other agendas - a bit like not all of the IRA being about
uniting Ireland. Add in the Christian nutters in America (who are
almost unbelievable) and the Jewish nutters in Israel (who are such a
threat to those non-violent Israelis wanting to make peace with the
Palestinians) and I really think they're all as bad as each other.

  6. Fair comment. I revert to my original premise then - dispose of all
religious nutters, irrespective of faith or denomination. YKIMS.

  11. They don't need to be disposed of. A proper recognition of their mental
illness and appropriate treatment is all that is needed so they can be
re-educated and returned to a society free from the control of any sort
of religious dogma to fill a useful role is enough.

I've just read "The Islamist" by Ed Hussein. It seems that most
Muslims, like most other God fearing types are happy just to get along
with everyone else. There's just a hard core who have mixed politics
up with Islam which is when you get nutters who want a single muslim
state. The freedom of speech we grant ourselves in the Uk has sadly
allowed Islamists (who support a single Islamic state and death to the
'western' Infidels) to become common in the UK relative to the normal
Muslims who are nice fluffy people.

The irony is if you had a single Islamic state you have to agree on
asingle kind of Islam, and there aint one.
    ....and you're calling *them* extreme?

At the end of the day having an imaginary friend who tells you not to
kill people and to respect others is not a bad idea, and 'normal'
Christianity, Kikeism and Islam all do exactly that. The problem comes
when twats start thinking the world is 4000 years old or that people
on Trains need to be blown up.

People use their beliefs as an excuse to fulfil military or political
objectives. If you took that excuse away they'd soon think of another
    one.

What part of "lunatic" did you not understand? I've no problem with
people's religious beliefs as long as they keep them to themselves and
don't try and inflict them, by force, on others.

Maybe the History of sky fairy worship in pictures will help the hard

  16. Lovely rant on The Now Show on the beeb by the bloke who gets paid to
say what we are already saying. Shame he didn't mention that really but
otherwise a jolly good little monologue that was very much to the point.
