It is a sad day for a man when a much loved machine tool has to go to a new
home. But for (now at least) WUN seems to have 'space at the rear' for
    Cane's huge tool.
The hiab truck driver we hired to collect the milling machine performed
miracles with the hiab. This being all of *14 Fucking Metres* long at full
extension and _still_ picked the ton or so of cast iron mill up as though it
    was a child's toy..
I have jsut got to get me one of those!
    Cheers again Nigel.

And to think that I used to believe that "innuendo" meant an Italian
    suppository...
Oh yes. Oh yes indeed. What an *amazing* bit of kit.

You're most welcome. I shall now get my bloke organised, and re-open
negotiations with that nice Mr Cane.

    <thinks>

Do they even *make* that much Stella?

They were the tool of choice for banger racers.

Very useful for straightening cars for the next round by the simple
expedient of lashing one end of the car to the truck and pulling the
other with the Hiab. Until one, apocraphyl, day the lashings broke
resulting in a MII Granada sailing across the pits.

At least he's had plenty of time to come terms with his impending loss.

  11. OldestBrother used to play with one of those for pulling tree stumps
out of the ground. And slinging large lumps of wood around..
