bike down S of 17 Summit 6/24

    On my way back to SJ from SC about 1pm yesterday, traffic was stopped
    just south of the summit, all lanes blocked by emergency personnel. I
    saw them wheeling away what could have been a GSX-R with some damage to
    the headlight/fairing area. Traffic was backed up all the way down to
    the Cats in LG.

    Any word on the rider?
