If One used to be a bit of a Stunt Monkey but has been out of practice
and has lost One's mojo, what would be the old secondhand bike of
choice for practicing One's Monkey Business on?

    B12? Monster9?

Is there an easy recipe for converting something such as an old
standard B12 regarding changing the handlebars etc?

A decent 600 with a change of gearing is the order of the day young man.
Even my lowly GSX600F will wheelie now I've changed the gearing and thats a
heavy bike. The only advantage I can see with a B12 would be the torque and
the fact you can wheelie it off the throttle. However, if you get your
clutching sorted a B6 with a sprocket change will do the job splendidly.

What about for stoppies too? I was thinking of a stunt all-rounder.

I've never did a decent stoppie on a B6 probably more due to my poor
technique but I see no reason why they shouldn't do a good stoppie, they
have decent brakes. Things like KD and wheelies are quite good on a B6. I
was chatting to someone a few weeks ago who was doing brilliant stunts on an
old "streetfightered" CBR600 with a huge rear sprocket and renthal bars.
Wheelies were almost from a standstill and his stoppies were nearly vertical
but he told be he couldn't get his kneedown. He reckoned that the 600 were
    more manageable.

I've only stoppied 2 bikes. One was my RGV, and the other was a borrowed
    GSX600F.

Mind you, on the GSX I was sat on the tank...

Teach a man to fish and he and his pikey mates will have the
river cleaned out in a day.

Seconded. Arse cheeck clenching as a free bonus when negotiating a corner.

Any bike will wheelie, I think (apart from, obviously, a Tuono). A friend of
mine wheelied (nearly vertical) a 1300 Pan... Shame on the VFR rider who
couldn't even keep up with me...

Best we don't both get involved in a wheelie thread after the last time.
On you go, Dave, I've got to do the washing up.

My old B6 stoppied like an utter bastard. EBC pads probably helped.
My current B12 doesn't do too badly either, even though it's on
standard pads and the (in some quarters) reviled Tokico 6-pot
calipers. I prefer not to abuse the rear shock too badly though, as
    it's known for its bare-adequacy.

Oh ****. I slipped into a Forest of Dean colloquialism. Much misunderstood,
    it seems.

Fruit in the FoD means "mate".

However, in some regions it means "nutter" and others "queer". I guess in
the Cumbrian metropolis of Carlisle it means the latter. It's not like you
    could dispute the former :)

If it was the first Rambo film you watched, then he nicked a DT175
Yamaha by swiping the guy off as he rode down the road.

    averagely.

A man of your means, considering a supermoto, would be well advised to
    look for a Husky Nox.
