Why?

 

They're just perfectly balanced, ultra-reliable (do high wheelies and
many bikes go pop reasonably quickly, whereas the CBR - when over-filled
- just keeps going), don't have too much power, don't have a too racey a
riding position and their frames are nice and solid so don't crack very
easily. The fuel injected versions are the best of all as they don't
stall at 12 o'clock, either.

It's almost as though they were designed for it.
