    Fascinating!

"Dad is nuclear physicist and he also says that of all dangerous things
he can only think about one, which is riding on fifth or sixth gear on my
    bike."

    Bloody parents, the same everywhere!

"if they will find radiation on you vehicle, they give a chemical shower
    and it eat ya bike"

She needs a hard shell as well as a hard core!

I just love this little gem:

"marauders in radiation poluted area are not just a regular marauders, they
don't steal stuff for themselves. There were cases of radiactive tv sets
and other stuff being sold on city second hand markets and then police shot
7 or 8 of them and it helped"

Sensational - I can see it now...

Cop 1: Draws pistol, "Bang! Bang! Stopski, dis is da policeski!"
Cop 2: "Da. No more maraudski for him. Good shotink comrade".

    Interesting read too ;)

So she might die a bit sooner than otherwise. Be truly awesome to visit the
    ghost town.

WoW what a fascinating read. I couldn't believe her boob tube.

So how many of you would risk the radiation to do what she did?

If I had the geiger counter thingy, i would do it. Would be like "Dawn Of
The Dead" for real I reckon. Would love to go on the devils ride. And she
reckons she redlines the zzr? sounds like my kind of woman! Wonder what she
looks like with no clothes on.

Darn right, it also shows how slowly nature takes things back, even though it's only been 18 odd years
or so now, thats about right? Aside from the radiation, i'd love to take a look at it (im sure others would too)

Saw a doco on pay tv once about it.......very weird seeing the workers clock
on to go to work in a virtual ghost town.

  18. It did pretty much finish the Soviet Union off, after all...

....cue memories of tv news at the time assuring us that the radiation could
never reach us because of our unique weather conditions and wind patterns,
but let's just all refrain from drinking milk for the next few weeks just to
be on the safe side, mmhm-kay?
