bike speedo's

  1. I have a honda Z50 that I am trying to get registered.
Honda cant seam to track down a headlight for me, but gave me a CT110 one to
    try out.
It fits in the bucket no worries, but the back of it is too deep and cuts of
the area it currently uses for the speedo cable.

    So my question is.
Can I get a bike speedo or something similar to that and will it still be
    legal?
I only need it to go to 60-100km/h type range max, as that bike will only
    ever probably go that fast.

Does anyone know of any aftermarket electronic 2inch or 50mm speedo's?

The other option is to mount it elsewhere which will probably do for now

    thanks
    Cameron

If you are in NSW, then you do not require a speedo to get the bike
registered. The police may require you to have a way of measuring your
speed though... a cycle speedo's fine.

The Sigmas are known to work at speeds faster than a bicycle can go, but
the cheapies are probably fine for a 50 unless you are planning to try
and out do CrazyCam and Bluey.

You'd have to have a flouro purple and green flashing scheme with Marchesini
wheels and carbon cans to outdo Cam. C'mon. :)
