Bike to Bike communicators

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by Dave Milligan, Jul 21, 2004.

  1. Forgive my intrusion ukrmers.

Does anyone have any idea what sort of Bike to Bike Communication
systems are most used in the UK.

The system I may buy for use in Aus & NZ could well be unacceptable in
    the UK.

My wife and I will be touring the UK in May, June & July next year and
would find a system handy when my eye sight fails me at intersections.

"Oi, wots that sign say?" etc.

    All input gratefully accepted.

    Kind regards
    Dave Milligan

Pointing and Shouting appear to be the most common.

NZ has The Datsuns. They are brillant through I believe they have to borrow
an amp from someone in Aus.

ps. You need to snip sigs or someone hairy will get cross.

They don't snip sigs there either - but it would be nice if you could,
    while you're here.

    Hi Dave

Not spoken to you for a while.

http://www.autocom.co.uk/ is the most commonly used stuff over here. They
have distributors in Aus & NZ
