Anybody had any experience of transport companies. I'm looking to get a
Norton Commando moved from Dartford area up to Porridgeland (Edinburgh).
Done the Google bit but any recomendations, experiences and indicative costs
    would be useful.

    Cheers

    Heh. cheers!
It hasn't been ridden since 1995 so it lacks paperwork although allegedly
"it won't take much to MOT it mate".
Nah it's a safe bet from a workmate. A project as they say. it needs
trailered which is a PITA even meeting halfway hence the enquiry.
Loads of companys on Google "We are the best" "no1 bike
    movers"...........................

Wish it was rideable you would be welcome!

One of my mates has used one outfit a lot - I'll see what he says.

Won't be cheap though - he bought a Cagiva Gran Canyon from a bloke in
Polmont & found it considerably cheaper to pay the petrol for me to ride
    it to Gloucester for him...

Well, I was going from Falkirk to Reading that week anyway so it was
more fun for me than Queasyjet. Think he got quoted £160 for Falkirk -
    Gloucestershire.
