bike trouble

    hi all got a two stroke which doesnt seem to want to idle, no matter what
    adjustments i make it wont idle and is very sluggish. when i try to get it
    up to top speed it starts to die. any ideas? replace carby? its a auto mixed
    two stroke i took it to a mechanic a while ago and he fixed it but it didnt
    last all that long.

    go through the basics first

    new plug
    carb clean
    check fuel flow is ok
    fit fuel filter if you don't have one

    lots of oil on the plug i think i might need new rings

    If the bike smokes a lot and you know your timing is right and you
    aren't feeding it too much oil, then you might need rings.

    Oil on the plugs is more likely to be the mixture is too rich.

    Clean your air filter to start with.
