How much of a set up could it be? Police bike was so obviously a fake
with the 'Ghost Rider' on board. No police rider I know would get that
close to the rear of an erratically driven car at those speeds, plus the
rider had about 8 or 9 clear opportunities to pass, and let them go.

 

It's obviously staged, as all GR stuff, but still seriously impressive.

IIRC Aston Martin didn't build it, they built the base car which was
then converted by Tickford Engineering, a seperate division.

Well I can definitely see the similarities, although by the looks of
things Aston have done quite a few shooting brakes.

It was lucky there was a camera in place where the BMW came to a stand.
I assume the speeds were in MPH as the highest of 143 was pitiful if it
was KPH.

 

M Coupe, no 3.

 

And at so many other places, too.

 

I saw 237 on the speedo which is 148mph

 

I probably skipped through that bit as it got a bit boring after a while.
