    wisdom:
Is it just my computer or do these new google vide links not play
smoothly (in Firefox) and WTF didn't GR overtake BMTwatt? It's not like
he didn't have the opportunity or did he just not know where he was
    going?

The best and only exciting bit imho was when that yellow van cut across
the bike and for a few short seconds had to catch up. OK, so the car
driver was no slouch but I reckon this vid was produced to stroke the
egos of car drivers. The bike was obviously faster and it's a crying
shame that the pilot was unwilling to slap the little bitch into
    submission.

I don't think it could be anything but staged. Though I suspect the
actual driving was a reasonable attempt at a contest except on the
occasions when the bike had to slow down in traffic to let the car stay
    ahead.

I don't disagree with that, the bike clearly outclassed the car
everywhere, which is what you'd expect (anywhere off a racetrack) but
it was the best attempt you could come up with given that the bike had
the camera and was supposed to be following the car, I'm pretty
convinced the car was trying as hard as was possible.
