Bike Valeting

Discussion in 'UK Motorcycles' started by Sargeant Rutter, Sep 21, 2007.

  1. Anyone know of anywhere in the London area that does a good valet?
Im selling my old CB 500 which is filthy and everyone knows that a clean
bike goes for more than a dirty one.
I could do it myself but its nicer when done properly.

Haven't used them myself, but you could try
    http://www.mo-clean.co.uk/ or http://www.moto-spa.co.uk/

I think they're meant to be good, but I doubt they'll get a crashed 7R
up to A1 condition with just a bit of AutoGlym.

    heh.

This is for the Tiger - although the Cif Oxy stuff I used did a pretty
good job of getting off a lot of the crap, they wheels are still far
from shiney. The whole plot needs a good old clean, particularly in
the hard to reach bits. Also, the dashboard plastic could do with re-
    blacking.

All in all, it's stuff I could do myself if I could be bothered, but
    quite frankly I can't.

    Daily enema?
Did he take the same exhaustive trouble after taking a dump or clean his
urethra right up to the bladder with a cotton bud after pissing, or was this
OC behaviour restricted to motorbikes ;o)

FTR, I'm having these guys out to clean the Tiger on Saturday - I'll
take before and after pics if anyone's interested.
