I don't usually see the point of these posts, but right now it feels
like the done thing as I suspect a few people here may have met him.

Mark, aka ASM-Forever on the SV forums. RIP you fat pseudo-French
fucker, I'm actually going to miss you.

Not sure what else to say, really, so I won't.

Bugger, do you know what happened?

Not entirely - we only saw the aftermath when we came round the same
bend a few seconds later. Somehow his bike cartwheeled onto the other
side of the road and hit an oncoming car and it was game over. A couple
of doctors on a coach behind did all they could but it was too late.

Not a pleasant thing to see really.

We get that kind of journalism for the B1502. It's a combination of lazy
sensationalist journalism and a road (the B1502 that is) that needs a
bit of care. The local rag has screaming headlines like "road of death".
Then when you read the article it's all about a pissed-up 18 yo who lost
control and hit something. If the paper gets its way it'll have cameras
    and humps soon.

Jeez, losing a mate on a rideout must be fucking awful.

  9. Clumsy cnut overcooked it, then. And an SV is a near-classic post-newbie
    bike.
Any bits worth saving from the bike?

Maybe, maybe not. Witness accounts were rather mixed and I wouldn't want
    to jump to conclusions...
....like that. He was on an R6. Not everybody on the SV forums still has
an SV and even those of us who do don't necessarily have them out to
    play.

I sincerely hope it never happens, but I'm willing to bet six month's
wages that if Jamie ever kills himself on a motorcycle, you'll take a
very, _very_ dim view of someone saying, 'clumsy cnut overcooked it',
and 'any bits worth saving from the bike?'

In short, you're a crass wanker.

I dunno - I quite often lose my mates on a ride out.

We usually meet up at the next stop, tho

  16. You might as well ask the Mississippi to stop flowing.

Oh, and don't post things like that from work, in work time on work
machines (not that you have). You never know who might file a complaint
    against your employer.

    *Cough*

  19. Des, have you ever considered studying the Chinese martial art of Tai
Chi Chuan? It could have a massive positive influence, and I think you
would be well suited to practising this art.

    Not nice.

Must have been bloody horrible to come round the corner to see whilst
on a rideout, a worst nightmare in fact.
