    Oh...... that was you was it. Didn't laugh to start with, but on the
    way to Norfolk I did have a little giggle... it may have been hysteria
    from driving 150 miles in freezing fog.

    pahhhh I drove a Renault Magnum from Huntingdon to Sheffield the other night
    without a clutch, I guess having 8 low and 8 high gears allows you to slow
    down and keep the drive engaged for those tricky junctions :eek:)

    Did that on my K100RS when the clutch cable went as I rode home from my
    advanced bike test. The change in handling as the engine fires up made
    it interesting.
    Got all the way through Poole and Bournemouth on a busy afternoon, but I
    had to do lot more antici[1] than usual at roundabouts.
