    This morning (06:45), here:

    http://tinyurl.com/pre6x4

.... right where it says B198 in yellow on the roundabout, a silver
sports / tourer of some sort on it's side in the middle of the road
and rider being dealt with by the ambulance crew.

As I came past again a bit later the bike / ambulance had gone and but
there was a silver scooter (ped / 125) on the grass verge with it's
rear light smashed and rider talking to the boys in blue.

It's a rare day when there isn't some sort of incident at that
    location.

I used to live very near there, and I remember when they built that bit of
    disastrous road.
That has turned into one very nasty roundabout!

Well they must realise it's an issue as they have now added a left
turn only lane Southbound (not that anyone takes notice of it of
course) and some real fucked up right turn lane on the roundabout
itself when reading Northbound. Twice (car learner) daughter has been
hooted at when taking that Northbound exit as her third exit as people
have undertaken her as she's going to pull into the left hand lane.

Luckily it's normally two or three cages with their fronts and rears
all folded up, not so 'nice' when it's a biker on the tarmac.

I've lived within 500 yards of here for 52 years now.
    I remember the A10 being a single carriageway. ;-)
    It has indeed.

I really don't know what it is about the A10 Southbound entry to the
roundabout that makes it so tricky as the other entry points aren't
much different. Having said that the Mrs wrote off a Marina with the
Sierra a few years back (knocked an indicator out of the Sierra) on
the Eastbound entry when it pulled away onto the roundabout then
    stopped.

balls. I come down Lieutenant Ellis Way[1] all the time on the way
back form Brookfield Farm M&S[0] - I don't think I've ever seen an
    accident there.

[0] A. likes it - it's certainly better then the Enfield Town one.
[1] cheerfully ignoring the new 50mph speed limit - it's easily
possible to do double this, even in the car.

well, as per my other post, I have no problem with it. But if you do,
try complaining to Broxbourne council or the highways agency.

I did similar concerning the junction between the A10 and the Norf
Circ, and they did eventually listen to my (and many other's) points
and changed it to a traffic-light controlled junction rather than the
multi exit free-for-all that it used to be.

    In message
The only one I saw there was between 2 cages and that's not particularly
surprising or important. I used to commute via that junction on a daily
basis and can't say that it's any worse than anywhere else.

I can't see why you think its so bad. I go that way most days. I've never
had a problem and never seen one there. I can certainly think of worse
roundabouts e.g where the A1 joins the A414, A6129 and A1001 at J4, north of
Hatfield Tunnel OR Brook St. under J28 on the M25 where it joins the A12 and
    A1023

I don't. It seems others do though by the disproportionate number of
'instances' I've witnessed there. (FWIW I've only seen (personally)
one other elsewhere on that roundabout and that was quite recently on
    the Northbound junction).
Maybe you are a good rider / driver.
Maybe you weren't going past after they all happened (as it seems I
was)? As I mentioned elsewhere, why have the Council recently added
the left turn only lane just there? Not any other entrance to that
roundabout, just that one. Do they normally bother if there are no
    'issues'?
I'm sure you can but I don't live near any of those not witnessed as
many issues on them as I have this one (so can't comment on them).

Agreed, but from my first hand observation, THAT particular entrance
to THAT roundabout seems to have a high level of issues.

This mornings one had a biker down and as some here go that way I was
hoping is wasn't even one of even the cunts.
