Bikes, Dremels and Teeth

So, having carefully Dremmeled the corrosion on the rear wheel to an
acceptable level for paint to reduce the problem further until I get chance
to have it bead blasted I espied in the kit a diamond impregnated burr.

A few months ago, while chomping on a particularly hard lump of Pork
Scratching I lost a filling and chipped a tooth.
Burr fitted to chuck, High speed selected, bright light and seconds later no
sharp tooth anymore. Edge finely ground back to reduce the sore lip problem.

Now what else can I Dremell ........

He's been one of my favourites since the early 70s (Alice, not Eddie).

 

My knowledge of Alice Cooper is quite limited, I'm afraid; I've been
buying more when I see it cheap somewhere, but I haven't got the
awareness of the lyrics that you can only get from playing the same
album over and over again, like you do when you're 15.

I've attacked sharp bits of tooth/fillings before with a nail file.

But I'm curious why you decided to do it when you saw the diamond burr?
If some Pork Scratchings are harder than your teeth, any bit would have
done the job.

 

Please don't encourage him further, I have been sitting here wincing
enough as it is... and wondering what would happen if he got his lip
caught in the chuck.

I remembered that the dentist was having some of his burrs "re diamonded" at
a cost of around £75 each !

As for the Pork Scratchings, it was a bite/sudden shatter of pork/teeth
interface moment at whatever tonnage my gob chomps down with that caused the
chipping of toof.

That happened to me with a small stone in some nasi goreng

half the bloody tooth sheared off
