Bikes, or lack of?

Been to three dealers today & there are hardly any bikles around.
Especially new?

Matey is looking at a Versys Touring or a ER6, waste of time today.

Went to one dealer that did not have one single new bike to look at,
ffs.

Try Earnshaws in Huddersfield. They usually have new stock to sit on and
go 'brum'

Tell him there's a stock model Versys in SupaMoto in Kempston, Bedford,
another in Anchor Kawasaki in Finedon, and SupaMoto have access to a
Versys Touring to demo.

What is it at the minute? No bikes nor **** all.

Gonna take the purple helmet on a Cadwell trackday soon, if yer up for it?

Wouldn't surprise me if new ones were going too. Triumph Street Triple -
£5720 or ¤8990 (£7768); Aprilia Shiver - £5990 or ¤8590 (£7422).
That's with today's "stronger" pound. A couple of months ago you could
have added 10% to those prices in brackets.

I've mentioned before that I'm pretty sure my local Triumph dealer is
flogging UK spec bikes.

 

Yes, those as well. Bike manufdactures are shipping to the UK, and dealers
in Europe oare picking them up at bargain prices to sell in their own
country, the inverse of our hayday in the '90s
