I know!

Fortunately, I was on one too. I gave my bike a run down to Platy's
yesterday afternoon, then across to F's place. This morning I took
the very long way round to meet Black Mike, and then home.

I really could do with something suitable for a pillion tho, and my
turbo is still in bits. But can I find a cheap Hayabusa? Can I ****.

It struck me earlier that on Friday I touched 135 on the Zed on the way
to a meeting. I may have gone a lot slower if I could have seen the
other vehicles on the road.

It's mad, isn't it? And some of them haven't even taken the winter
mudguards off yet.

 

I saw a bloke almost write one off today. Knobhead obviously didn't think
that a quick look over his shoulder as he entered the motorway was "cool".
Fucking good job the bloke in the Lambo Gallardo that was running up the
inside lane faster than the 'Busa had quick reactions and good brakes.

The Lambo missed the 'Busa by millimetres and the Gixxer rider who was
following/riding with the 'Busa even gave the Lambo driver the finger as if
it was him in the wrong. I was trying to stop a tank slapper at the time so
I gave no-one anything. Fucking Kwacks can't half make for an exiting ride.

I racked up almost 300 miles of A and B road hoonery today. It's not
often I rack up that kind of mileage for leisure and I should really do
it more often.

Search for 1300cc Suzukis, they have one 1999 red & black Busa, £4k.

Would you be interested in the Ohlins shock and Akropovic full system
(titanium one) off Adies 9R if I remove it before she sells it?

The link pipe on the exhaust has previously been split to make it fit
a Z1000 but it's never blown in the 5 odd years it's been fitted to
the bike and the Ohlins would probably benefit from a service and a
different spring but it'd need trying out before that sort of decision
was made.

She'll be throwing them on Ebay in the next couple of weeks if she
decides to go ahead with selling the bike so if you're interested you
can either gamble on getting them cheap on Ebay or make her a sensible
offer to be sure of getting them.

and some of us on little scooters too. I was busy trying to chase down
the rusty sports bike riders. None too easy on 13" wheels at 85mph on
rough roads.

 

Make an offer or take a gamble.

I'll be having the shock if she can't get what it's worth because
it'll fit the 10R and I know it's still fine for someone my size.
