Sorry, I forgot to say that they fit into far smaller spaces than
normal cars. Oh, and they go far faster in reverse than a normal car.
    Anything else?

BTW, although chez Cab is pretty much a full house over the next month
or so, you're more than welcome to give me a shout, if you're passing.

That applies to another Tour de France loving member of the group...

  5. Noted but I won't be coming over for the finish. Although I am watching
it on the telly I have my own veto on attending in Paris each time the
race gets mired in yet another drugs controversy.

Why not? My Sure EC2 cut out everything; my kids, my wife and the
crap they all listen to. TBH If I put them in, that's the end of it,
    for the outside world.

Because they're £1.99 Argos in-ear earphones and not ear plugs.

Was he expecting to "get lucky" then?

    BTW:
BGN: There's a bike rack on its way to you via the underground railway.
Should be with you later this week.

Oooh, thanks. How does this underground railway thing work? I know
I've been part of it once...

It works by me picking a rack up from Dave and dropping one down to you
next time I'm at the bike shop right next to your employer's place in
    the centre of town.

    Is that ok?

Fantabbytastic. They will then know that I'm a Friend of Lozzo...
this may be a good thing.

On the subject of Bandits... when you re-covered you B6's seat where
did you purchase the cover from? My B6 has a seat in need of
re-covering (gone at the front, a bit worn out at the sides too) but
am confident that even after recovering the plastic bit that sticks
out of the front will cut through the new cover over time anyway.

A sensible option would be to replace the whole seat, but replacements
from some Bandit website are quite expensive.

I source the vinyl through contacts in the trade. I have enough here to
do another Bandit seat if you'd like me to do yours for you. It doesn't
take too long and if done properly the front won't tear through for a
very long time. I recovered the one on my Bandit before Adie collected
it a couple of years ago, and I recovered her 1200 seat as well, neither
has gone through again. From factory they aren't done very well, hence
    the tearing problem.

Thanks. As the bike is used daily it will be difficult for me to get
the seat to you. I trust you'll be playing EoSM 19th & 20th August?

If you still have the vinyl then, have have it with you, and are able
to do it there then it would be ideal and I would, again, be thankful.

I can do it at EOSM if you like, it'll be no trouble but I'll need
    reminding just beforehand.
