TBH even those times suck. I try to actually appear in our office less
and less as each year passes.

I can't imagine wanting access much before 9, or much after 5, Monday
    to Friday.

Back in the happy days of North Devonian employment, my timesheet
frequently featured midnight to four, 7:30 to 12, 16:00 to 22:30 all on
the same day. Fractured hours monitoring complaints were the order of
the day, and the issue was to get the information gathered and get the
job done, not to watch the clock. It was much more fun that way.

Mind you, 'RaveWatch' wasn't so entertaining, frequently involving a
start straight from 9 - 6 Friday and finishing 10:30 Sunday. Mondays
involved TOIL and a lot of snoring.

Heh! I'm glad I had people to do most of that for me in my later 'white
hat' years. Still had to get up in time to be at a complainant's house
ready for a drop forge to start work at 06:00 a number of times. Muggins
tended to be the only one sufficiently skilled in the dark arts of
    vibration measurement.

There's got to be more job satisfaction in destroying things than mere
    project management.

Oh dear, sounds frustrating. We all know what happens when one gets
frustrated in your line of work. A gal is likely to snap!
Gloucester. Its dull but worthy work. To be fair its got a lot better
recently after all my forms have been filled in and accepted. Took a
    year!
